In this week's program, Dr. Reminga talks about Thanksgiving Feasts and how the foods we eat during the holidays can effect our feet and our health. With the rich, fatty foods we eat at Thanksgiving, Dr. Reminga advises a word of caution. He talks about how extra calories can add up resulting in weight gain over the holidays. Added pounds can cause problems with the feet and ankles. Also, those with Diabetes need to pay special attention to the kinds of food they eat and the negative affects on their feet. In addition, Dr. Reminga asks the question... 'Did you know Thanksgiving foods can be a trigger for gout?' Gout is a painful condition that can flair up quickly causing throbbing pain in the joints and especially the big toe. On a lighter note, Dr. Reminga also shares some Thanksgiving humor to pass around the dinner table.

Dr. Daniel Reminga's Weekly Radio Show "Your Feet Your Health" airs every Wednesday at 10 am & 5 pm on WKMJ 93.5FM, WMPL 920AM, WUPY 101.1FM radio. Listen to past recordings here.
